Market monitoring conducted from 2000

The purpose of research – market analysis of lithium and its compounds – world and Russian, as well as chains of its conversion in the aircraft industry, nuclear industry, production of lithium-ion batteries, plastic lithium lubricants etc.

The objects of study are lithium-containing ores and brines, lithium-containing mineral concentrates, and various lithium compounds, lithium metal.

This work is a Desk study. As information sources used data of Rosstat, Federal customs service of Russia, statistics of rail transportation of the Russian Federation, materials of the State of the U.S. Geological survey (USGS), the data base UNdata, sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, and also Internet-sites of company-producers of lithium and its compounds.

The chronological scope of the study: 2000-2016; Outlook 2017-2025/

Geography research: Russian Federation and the world.

 

The report consists of 9 sections, contains 173 pages, 46 figures and 57 tables and 5 applications.

The first Chapter is devoted to the global reserves of lithium, a lithium raw material and methods of its processing.

The second Chapter is devoted to the mineral resource base and production of lithium products abroad. It presents data on world production of lithium resources, the prices of lithium products. Described company – largest producers of lithium compounds and raw materials.

The third Chapter is devoted to the mineral resources base of lithium in Russia. This is a brief description of the balance of deposits of lithium and promising raw objects.

The fourth Chapter analyzes foreign trade operations in lithium and its compounds in 2000-2016, he presents data on volumes of export and import of products, estimates regional pattern of the supplies.

The fifth Chapter presents data on production of lithium and lithium compounds in Russia, 2000-2016 he Considered the main producers. Presents Standards and specifications for manufactured lithium products.
