This report is the 2nd edition of the argon market research in Russia.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the argon market.
The object of study is argon (gaseous and liquid).
This work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (Rosstat), the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation), data from customs statistics and railway transportation statistics of the Russian Federation, UNdata databases were used.
Also, data from industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of argon producers and consumers were involved; the Infomine database was used; conference materials.
The main chronological framework of the study: 2010-2021; forecast - until 2030
Research geography: Russia.
Scope of study: the report consists of 9 parts, contains 86 pages, including 37 tables, 19 figures, 1 appendix.
The first chapter (introduction) gives a brief description of the industrial gases market in Russia and the role of argon.
The second chapter discusses the requirements for the quality of gaseous and liquid argon in Russia, and gives its main technical characteristics.
The third chapter is devoted to an overview of the equipment used for the production of argon, indicating the main manufacturers and suppliers to the Russian market. The technical characteristics of the used air separation units (ASU) are also given.
The fourth chapter is devoted to the production of argon in Russia (2010-2021), highlighting the main producers. The structure of production by branches and regions is given. Separately, information on the volume of commercial argon production is presented.
The fifth chapter discusses the main Russian argon producing companies, their equipment, the dynamics of the production of argon and other products.
The sixth chapter of the review provides data on the export-import of argon in Russia in 2010-2021.
The seventh chapter is devoted to a brief overview of liquid argon prices.
The eighth chapter describes the use of argon in Russia, shows the balance of production and consumption (2010-2021), the structure of argon consumption, and shows the main areas of use.
The ninth chapter contains the InfoMine forecast for argon consumption in Russia until 2030.
The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of the main participants in the argon market in Russia.
Target audience of the study:
- participants in the industrial gases market - producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and management decision makers working in the Russian industrial gases market.
