This report is the first edition of the market research of wind power plants in Russia and CIS countries.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the market of wind power plants in Russia and CIS countries.

The object of the study are wind power plants of small, medium and high power from 0.1 kW to 3.3 MW.

This paper is a desk study. Information sources used were scientific, sectoral and regional press data, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of developers and manufacturers of wind power plants, and a survey of domestic and foreign experts.

Chronological framework of the study: 2010-2017, forecast for 2018-2025.

Geography of the study: Russian Federation, Ukraine and other CIS countries.

The report consists of 4 chapters, contains 83 pages, including 26 tables, 23 figures and 3 annexes.

The first chapter provides information on wind power plants in the Russian Federation, in particular, on the state support of wind power, on the development and production of wind power plants, on export-import operations, and also forecasts consumption for 2018-2025.

The second chapter provides information on wind power plants in Ukraine, in particular on the state support of wind power, on the development and production of wind power plants, on export-import operations, and also gives a forecast of consumption for 2018-2025.

The third chapter provides information on wind power plants in other CIS countries, in particular in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan; reports on export-import transactions, as well as a forecast of consumption for 2018-2025.

In the fourth chapter, a price analysis of wind power plants is carried out and the intervals of the estimated cost of wind power plants are indicated.

The appendices provide the legislative basis for state support for wind power in the Russian Federation, developers and manufacturers of pilot plants in Russia are listed, a list of Russian importers of wind power plants of very low power is given.

The target audience of the study:

- Participants in the wind energy market in Russia and CIS countries - researchers, developers, producers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study claims the role of a reference tool for professionals who make management decisions that work in this market.
