This review is the second edition of tomography market research in Russia. The work is devoted to the study of 2 segments of tomographic equipment - computer (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) tomographs and does not affect such a part of the market as positron emission tomography (PET).

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian market of computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners.

The object of study are computer and magnetic resonance imaging.

Chronological scope of the study: 2002-2019, forecast - 2020-2025.

Study geography: Russia - detailed analysis, global market - brief description

The report contains 111 pages, including 33 tables, 30 figures and 1 appendix.

This work is mainly a desk study. As sources of information, data were used by the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSGS of the Russian Federation), the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation), and the Infomine database. Also, when working on the review, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, data from regional and industry mass media, and websites of manufacturers and consumers of computer and magnetic resonance imaging scanners were used.

Also, during the preparation of the study, telephone interviews were conducted with representatives of tomographic equipment market participants.

The difference between this work and similar studies presented on the marketing market is the depth of the study - an analysis of the Russian market since 2002 has been carried out. In addition, one work presents data on two segments of the tomographic equipment market - computer and MR tomographs.

The first chapter of the report provides basic information about computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, the principles of operation of the apparatus, the main differences between these methods, as well as areas of application. Also in this chapter provides brief information about the global market for computer and magnetic resonance imaging.

The second chapter of the report presents data on enterprises producing tomographic equipment in Russia. The main characteristics of the manufactured equipment and the estimation of production volumes in 2005-2019 are given.

The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of foreign trade operations with tomographic equipment in Russia in 2002-2019. This chapter provides data on the dynamics and geographical structure of export and import supplies of tomographs, identifies the largest foreign suppliers and major Russian consumers of these products.

The fourth chapter of the report provides data on the dynamics of average import prices for tomographs in the period 2010-2019, and also provides data on prices for this equipment in the Russian market.

The fifth chapter of the report is devoted to the study of demand for tomographs in Russia in the period 2004-2019. This chapter presents data on the level of equipment of Russian medical institutions with tomographic equipment, and shows the production-consumption balance of this type of apparatus in Russia.

The final sixth chapter of the report provides a forecast of the development of the tomographic equipment market in Russia for the period up to 2025.

The Appendix contains the addresses and contact information of manufacturers of tomographic equipment in Russia.

This study may be useful:

• consumers of tomographs - medical institutions specializing in tomographic research;

• Russian and foreign manufacturers of tomographic equipment;

• trading companies, representative offices and dealers of manufacturing companies.
