This report is the 2nd edition of the study of copper scrap market in Russia.

 

The purpose of research – market analysis of copper scrap.

The objects of study are secondary cupriferous raw materials (scrap copper and its alloys).

This work is a Desk study. As information sources, data of Federal service of state statistics of Russia (Rosstat), Federal customs service of Russia (FCS), customs statistics and statistics of rail transportation, the base is the UN Agency for statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Also, data of sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of emitters of securities, Internet-sites of company-producers (suppliers) and consumers of scrap copper; the database of "INFOMINE"; proceedings of conferences.

The main chronological framework of the study: 2004-2016 (separate data from 1995); Outlook to 2025

Geography research: Russia.

 

The volume of research: report consists of 6 sections, contains 63 pages, including 16 tables, 21 figures, 1 Appendix.

The first Chapter introduces the classification and quality requirements of copper scrap.

The second Chapter describes the legal framework of copper scrap market in Russia, given the regulations.

The third Chapter is devoted to the analysis and collection of copper scrap in Russia (2004-2016), shows the relevant statistics, the size distribution of collection regions.

The fourth Chapter analyzes foreign trade operations of Russia in copper scrap 2000-2016 Presents data on directions of deliveries of main exporters and importers of copper scrap.

The fifth Chapter describes the use of copper scrap in Russia, presents the dynamics and structure of consumption, describes the main company-consumers of copper scrap.

The sixth Chapter of the review presents forecast of development of the copper scrap market to 2025

The Appendix presents addresses and contact information of key participants in the copper scrap market in Russia.
